These tokens were known as kids coins. One side was the Country Boy and one side was the Country Gal! Children would receive one of these coins as a reward for cleaning their plate. They could immediately redeem them in the Treasure Chest which was filled with capsules that contained small toys, one side for boys and one side for girls. Kids could collect them and “purchase” items from the “Show Case” such as Little Golden Books.
