LI II is a well designed game that makes good use of artwork by H.R. Geiger. It's almost as fun to play as it it to look at. Though possible, the lower double flippers don't allow for much ball trapping. This set up can take some time to get used to, but that's part of the fun.

The quality of the artwork extends beyond play field and translite. Every detail is superb. The lighting system is beautiful in itself and the message display on the upper right is a nice touch, even though it is under utilized.

Problems:
The ball often gets stuck on the upper left bumpers, but this can be corrected by nudging the machine. It's not a big deal, but can get annoying as it happens multiple times per game.
It would be nice if the game gave more instruction while playing. A list of the scoring system at the bottom of the play field, label lights to aim for, a voice indicating a players goal, or more notes in the message display would be helpful.

The difficulty of the game is moderate to advanced. New players might get frustrated at first, especially if they are big fans of multi-ball.
